Our data centres, located in London Docklands and mirrored at other locations in London and the Midlands in the UK connect to multiple telephone company operators, and multiple internet connections. In fact on any given day we are typically peering with 7 internet providers concurrently to ensure that if service is lost to one, we can automatically switch to any of the others to continue to provide operations to our customers. All calls are routed via our multiple resilient connections to our carriers partners, of whom we have more than 4 in every country we work in.
Security is a key tenet of data centre operation and follows the guidelines of ISO27001. Our Data Centres, which operate at ITSEC security standards and is accredited as PCI Compliant, have physical and logical security measures, including CCTV, Passcard control, escorted access and more. From a Data Perspective, we scan with 2 different intrusion detection system, 2 different anti-virus vendor's technologies and utilise advanced resilient firewall infrastructures. Customers connect to us over secure 128 or 256 bit SSL connections (internet banking level), or via secure VPN or direct private links if required.
We operate highly resilient platforms where every component is mirrored so that in the event of a failure of any component, your service will continue to operate, this includes multiple firewalls, data switches, clustered servers, resilient data paths and much more. Data is backed-up on line and distributed on a daily basis to secure off site locations to provide for disaster recovery as well as on-line restoration.
